WOW just wait till you see this fabulous 1988 Chevrolet IROC Z/28 Camaro. Extensively modified for the ultimate street cruiser both mechanically and cosmetically. The original paint was completely stripped and due to the prior care this Camaro was given there were no body repairs needed thus no bondo filler was required. The door handles and fuel filler door were filled in and the entire car was custom painted in a special paint formula developed by House Of Kolor. The results are just fabulous and it's definitely one of a kind. The engine is based on a Chevrolet 454ci big block that was built by Sontag Speed and Supply. It has GM performance super large oval port heads, super comp valve job, Victory titanium valves, titanium locks, bronze guides, copper alloy seats, 4340 crank shaft, Lunati roller cam, Lunati roller lifters, Harland sharp roller rockers with Crane cam studs and TRW 14:1 dome top pistons. It has a professional built Turbo 400 TCI super street fighter transmission with a 5500 race stall converter with anti balloon plate and JW reverse manual valve body. The transmission is controlled by a Hurst V-Matic 2 shifter. The front suspension has a custom K member and control arms that include custom fabricated tubular A-arms with Hyper coil overs and Comp adjustable 90/10 shocks. The rear suspension is custom South Side Machine lift bars and a narrowed Moser 9 inch rear end with 4:56 gears and utilizes Moser Billet pinion yoke and U-joint girdles. The drive shaft is custom built and is good up to 2,000 horsepower. The aluminum wheels are a one of a kind 15 inch Cragers with M/T Street radial tires mounted on them. Further enhancements include an aluminum four core Northern radiator, Power Master 155 amp alternator, Hooker Super Comp 2 5/8 inch headers that exit through a Flowmaster system, eight gallon fuel cell, braided lines extensively utilized, two fuel systems with the first one being an Aeromotive A200 pump 350 gph free flow and the second system is an NOS system using a high output fuel pump (ORB-08 90 gph) with two Pro Stock three port regulators. Additional features include a Pro built Demon 1025 cfm carburetor, Edelbrock Victor intake manifold, Hamburger eight quart oil pan with Moroso pump, Pete Jackson gear drive timing chain, CSI water pump, MSD pro Billet distributor and a MSD digital six AL ignition module. For safety and comfort for both the driver and passenger, five point New Racing safety Harnesses have been installed with the front two seats being custom made. In addition a ten point roll cage has been installed. Instrumentation include a full compliment of Auto Meter gauges including a large easily viewed Memory tachometer. This is a very high performance automobile that has never been raced. It was featured in the November 2006 Camaro Performance magazine and an actual copy will come with the purchase of this automobile. It has been used as a show car and street cruiser and driven very few miles since the extensive modifications.
